David's Birthday

July 16 my hubby turned 34. That morning the boys and I took cups of water and dumped them on him to wake him up. He woke up gasping for air and laughing! I didnt have a number 4 candle so I just added four blue candles. Dont laugh. Thats how we do.

Joshua's birthday!

July 9th is the day he was born. We had a party at Lifetime Fitness pool. The fellas had a blast. They came home good and tired. Happy Birthday Pumpkin!

July 4th

This year we went to Tempe Town Lake for the festivities. There were several activities for the kids and a live band. We had an awesome time!

May 2009

My nephew Mosi graduated high school this year. He is going into the Armed Forces as soon as he turns 18 in July. His mom made these cute programs. Good Luck Mosi!

Jalen went to Math & Science Camp this morming. He will be gone until Friday afternoon. There is no parent contact until they get back. He's never been gone away from home for so long. Except with family of course.

My sister Shona gave birth to a beautiful little girl yesterday. Here is Nia Laverne Tabb. What a cutie pie!

There is a field near our home where there are wildflowers growing. It stretches about 1/2 a mile or so. It is so pretty.

Shower Time

On Saturday March 28, 2009 I went to yet another shower for my sister Shona. She is due in May and has chosen not to find out what she is having. I didnt take any pictures at the shower because my digital camera is broken, but I did take a picture of the diaper cake I made. It was a duckie theme.

A day in the park

Friday we went to Goodyear park just to hang out because we had such nice weather. We invited Carter to join us. He is now two months old. This was our first park date with him. He appears to be enjoying himself.

March 11, 2009

Tonight was young authors night at the kids school. They all wrote books and got a chance to showcase them to their family. I must admit I have some pretty talented kids! They even illustrated the books. This was Joshua's time to shine as he hopes to be a famous author someday.

March 7, 2009

Today was my birthday! The Lord blessed me too see another year. I didnt do anything special we had some friends and family over and just hung out. My sister in law Amy made me my favorite cake (spice cake).

On February 7, 2009 my sister Kristal had a shower for her baby boy. He is due in about a week and a half. There will be another post once he gets here. She did not have a theme but the colors were chocolate brown, blue, tan and a splash of green. (soo cuute!)

Happy Valentines Day!

We didnt do much this year, but I made a very lovely meal for my boys and I. We ate crab legs, chicken, risotto and asparagus. The boys drank sparkling apple cider out of champagne flutes and David and I sipped white zinfandel. I even made sugar cookies that I decorated with cute little sprinkles.

I even broke out the "good" dishes and candles for the occasion. We had a very lovely evening!

Showers and bellies and babies. OH MY!

On January 17th 2009 I attended two baby showers. One for a co worker Natalie and another for my sister Stephanie. Both were due at the same time. As I was getting ready for the first shower (Natalie) I learned my sister in law Amy just gave birth to my new nephew Carter. Isnt he cute!

Later that afternoon I went to my sister Stephanie's shower. My other sisters were there and we had a good time. She had a tweety bird theme that was very cute. I also was able to spend time with my two other pregnant sisters. (more info on them shortly)

When I got back to work on the 19th. I was told that Natalie had her son Luka on Sunday 1/18/09. He was born 5 weeks premature and was have some trouble breathing. After spending some time online I found out that this is normal and should resolve as he matures. My prayers go out to his parents Natalie and Carlos.

Whew! What a weekend.

Christmas 2008

This Christmas was very good for us as a family. The boys got Guitar Hero for the Wii which they love. I will post a video of them once I figure out how to. They also got bikes even though no one knew how to ride one. I got their first day of bike riding on video and will post that also. Stay Tuned!
